What a great place to eat. Especially the breakfast. They have a big breakfast menu. The food is delicious. My family and I always go for the eggs. The eggs are cooked perfectly and are delicious. We have never had any issues with the egg plates. My son gets the pancakes. They are delicious. We always go back every weekend. The staff is very friendly and wonderful. The staff knows us and they are so funny and VERY welcoming. We ALWAYS go back for the friendliness of the staff. AND OF COURSE The DELICIOUS eggs TOO.Thank you staff so much for always a wonderful experience and great FOOD.

This place lives up the name of a family restaurant. You feel very at home like your having a meal with family and friends. The decor, vibe, and style of the place reflect that. Our food was delicious! I had french toast with Turkey sausage and my boyfriend had sausage, biscuits and gravy with onions in his home fries. We both loved what we got. They have a parking lot with plenty of parking and it is easy to get to, not too far behind the Walmart plazas. Definitely will come back!

My boyfriend and I were driving home to CT from Virginia and desperately needed a good meal to get us through the last two hours of our drive! We stopped at Alpha and it was seriously one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had. I got a veggie omelette with hash browns and turkey sausage, and he got chocolate chip pancakes with corn beef hash. The omelette came with a large side of potatoes with the most incredible texture I’ve ever experienced. The turkey sausage was so juicy and delicious I was in heaven. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious and the corn beef was the perfect complement for savory. Highly recommend

My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit and have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Alpha Family Restaurant for Alpha, our 140th town.Alpha is a small Jersey town, with Hallmark town vibes, that feels like its well off the beaten path. You'd never realize that it's almost completely surrounded by busy I-78, which was built to go around it!At the Alpha Family Restaurant everyone seemed to know everyone when we had breakfast one morning. The service was quick and prices very reasonable. We enjoyed a pair of omelets and a side of French Toast.

Went there for my birthday breakfast! Food and service was great! Turns out it was a different girls birthday there today too!

A very soulful place! Honest waiters! We were standing in line, waiting for the table, and women came who wanted to go forward, and the waiter didn't let them in, saying that we were the first. It was very nice. Cool cafe design, country vibe, and delicious food. They replenish coffee for free - it's also very nice

Breakfast is always on the money. And their services excellent. Good home cooked food , I highly recommend it

We came here looking for a warm meal after a long day! The inside is decorated like a quaint country restaurant and the food is delicious to match. Their homemade chicken bowtie soup was phenomenal. Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous! Service with a smile and kindness was also in abundance. Would highly recommend and would come back here again!
